No, because not all of the patches support the "/integrate" command
line switch, which is mandatory for the "slipstream" functionality.

I don't think so. On a running Windows system, qchain.exe manages
concurrent patches automatically, but of course qchain is not running
if you apply patches to an installation image.

Yes, would be very handy.
For the above reasons and to avoid "monthly slipstreaming", we
recommend to "slipstream" the latest Service Pack and to apply the
post-SP-patches after installation using c't offline update.
