How to prevent Windows XP Service Pack 3 from being processed 03 June 2008 14:44
Dear customers,
if you'd like to stay with Windows XP Service Pack 2 for now, please
follow these steps:
1) Use c't offline update v. 4.72, because v. 4.80 excludes all
post-SP2 patches included in SP3
2) To prevent download, add 936929 to
...\exclude\ExcludeList-wxp-x86.txt
3) To prevent installation, add 936929 to
...\client\exclude\ExcludeList.txt
