Vertico integrates VOIP and CRM

Vertico Software, makers of the Asterisk-based Voice Over IP (VOIP) phone system Starface have worked with SugarCRM to release a connector which integrates both companies products. The connector allows incoming calls through Starface to trigger the SugarCRM system to display that customer's information and notes and allows SugarCRM users to click on customer to automatically place a call to them.

The connector is GPL3 licensed and available at the StarFace site. For evaluations ands demos, Starface has made a fully functioning demo available in the form of a VMWare Player compatible virtual machine. Existing users can download just the connector from the same page, or download from SugarForge.
