Nagios version 3.0 released

Nagios Open Source monitoring software has been released in version 3.0. Compared to the previous release candidate, the new version is said to start faster and fix several problems with macros, under NetBSD and in the documentation.

Nagios monitors servers and other network components. In large installations, version 3 promises better performance when large_installation_tweaks is activated. Developers also improved check logic and internal data structures and added multiline plug-in support. No changes were made to the existing web interface.
