MySQL and GlassFish application server available as a twin pack

Just before Sun's takeover of MySQL AB, the communities around the open source database and Sun's GlassFish application server released a joint software bundle. The bundle includes MySQL Community Server 5.0 (5.0.51a), GlassFish 2.0 and version 5.1.6 of the DBC driver for MySQL. It is designed to give developers an easy start with the Java and MySQL platforms. Sun plans to make the new bundle, which is to work with all the current operating systems, available for download shortly.
