Microsoft and Intel beef up joint research

Microsoft and Intel are setting up new research institutions in partnership with two universities. Details of the project are to be made known on Tuesday the 18th of March according to an announcement from Redmond. A telephone conference is to be held at 10 o'clock local time (PDT) between Intel and Microsoft managers, as well as representatives of the two still unnamed universities. The parties involved have as yet, given no further details.
